Join us at the Island Community House to watch and discuss a four-part documentary series Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones. Travel around the world with author and National Geographic explorer Dan Buettner to discover five unique communities and investigate the diet and lifestyles behind longevity. After the program, discuss how we can implement small changes to our lifestyles to improve overall health and wellbeing.
Make 2024 your best year yet! Focus on what you really want in order to live your best life. A vision board uses images and words to create a visual representation of a roadmap of your dreams and desires. Wellness expert Corinne Coppola, will lead you in designing a roadmap of your desired future that will inspire you to make the small shifts that will help you live your best life. All materials provided.
Individuals will team up and each team will prepare and cook one of three soup recipes provided. At the end of the class, we will enjoy a meal of the freshly prepared soups with a salad, and bread. Participants will then split the remainder soups up and be able to take all three soups home with them!
Support a super cause during the Super Bowl! Famous Pizza will generously donate back to ICH on all take out and dine in orders (delivery orders not part of fundraiser) during 2/11/24.
February’s Sweet Bites: Linzer Cookies. Try your hand at baking Mz. Baker’s featured dessert of the month! Participants will be provided with all ingredients and instruction and will go home with extra to snack on!
