All Reading is Good Reading
“One of the greatest gifts adults can give is to read to children.” – Carl Sagan
As part of Island Community House’s continued efforts to expand its multi-generational outreach, Executive Director, Katie O’Shea (aka “Miss Katie”) reads, “The Day the Crayons Quit” and “Little Blue and Little Yellow” at the Chincoteague Island Library’s, Tales for Tots program.
Island Community House, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit, serves as a multi-generational gathering place in the heart of historic downtown Chincoteague.
Our activities and events get people together to share common interests (or even spark new ones). We provide opportunities to learn through workshops and lectures.
