Drop in class. All levels vinyasa style yoga marrying one breath to one movement. We welcome beginners as well as advanced yogis. This class will improve you overall movement and balance. Great for runners, horseback riders and anyone who wants to add stretching and strength to your daily activities.
Come walk with us! Weather permitting, we will meet at ICH shortly before 9am and walk downtown, along Robert Reed Waterfront Park. We will continue on Church Street, turning onto Willow, before dropping back down on Mumford and returning to ICH. Participants should wear closed toe shoes and comfortable clothing. Free and open to the public.

Join us at the Island Community House to watch and discuss a four-part documentary series Live to 100: Secrets of the Blue Zones. Travel around the world with author and National Geographic explorer Dan Buettner to discover five unique communities and investigate the diet and lifestyles behind longevity. After the program, discuss how we can implement small changes to our lifestyles to improve overall health and wellbeing.
Individuals will team up and each team will prepare and cook one of three soup recipes provided. At the end of the class, we will enjoy a meal of the freshly prepared soups with a salad, and bread. Participants will then split the remainder soups up and be able to take all three soups home with them!

January’s Sweet Bites: Mini Bundt Cakes. Try your hand at baking Mz. Baker’s featured dessert of the month! Participants will be provided with all ingredients and instruction and will go home with extra to snack on!

Town of Chincoteague Director of Emergency Services, Bryan Rush, will be presenting "Safety in Your Home and Weather Preparedness" at the Island Community House. The discussion will include a Q&A session.
